Yeast infection since aug 2017....it’s June 2018

Literally done it all....diet, diflucan, all the creams. Nothing has worked and I’m beginning to truly feel defeated. I just want to feel pretty again. This almost year of a yeast infection has been the most challenging on my psych. I will say the boric acid pills helped control it to the point where I don’t have to wear a panty liner. It’s still in me though I can feel it. So itchy and gross. Not sure if I’m too hopeful because the boric acid pills I have been taking for about a month...it helped but I want to be cured. Nice to know I’m not alone. Good luck ladies.

Have you tried probiotics?  Those are known to help restore our flora.  I also wonder if it is not yeast but another fungal issue.  When they swab, do they get yeast back?  I have had great success with the one day Monostat ovule for yeast, I must say.  Sorry it has been difficult for you to eradicate this.  There is someone here that swears by a salt bath.  ??  Can't recommend as I don't know much about it.  One other question, do you track it?  Some women do have reactions to the feminine hygiene products they use and in particular tampons.  Again, sorry . . . must be frustrating!

Very frustrating. Feels like my life is revolved around it. And yes I have tried probiotics and they tested my strand of yeast and it came back normal. I have gotten std checked and I’m fine so I feel like my options are running out. I will look up a salt bath and see what that’s about. Thanks for your advice.

How is your diet?  If you consume a lot of sugar (even fruit and things of that nature)- try to cut that way back and see if that helps.  So sorry you are dealing with this- it has to be miserable!

To be honest it’s not the best.... I tried dieting months ago and I didn’t see the biggest difference but I also didn’t put all my effort into trying it. Thank you I appreciate it.
