In most cases it will go away on its own...but keep an eye on the cyst growth. I had one on my left ovary, I didn't know until it was too late. I started bloating with every meal and I had a bacterial infection. The doctors found that a 4in ovarian cyst had twisted my ovary and suffocated it. I had to have it removed. I have another one on my right now that the doc said will probably require surgery to remove. Right now they have me on birth control and supposedly are "monitoring".  I'm not sure there's much anyone can do to keep it from growing larger....though I'd love to find something that worked.
