oh ok i had blood test and an ultra sound done and they said i only had polycystic ovaries cos i only had one sign. haha thats true thanks kayln :)
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome has to do with hormone balances, you don't always have to have trouble with insulin or weight gain or hair growth. I don't have insulin problems but I still have PCOS. It takes blood work to confirm PCOS. You can have polycystic ovaries and not have the hormone imbalance. It does not always mean you will have trouble conceiving. You never know until you try.
thanks does this mean that it will be really hard to conceive?
polycystic ovarian syndrom involves problems with insulin, weight gain excess hair ect
polycystic ovary means you have lots of cysts on your ovary but none of the other traits/symptoms
