Period 3 weeks late and deco not pregnant, help?

My period is usually a week later than I expect but I can always guarantee when it was going to be. However, I was due my period on the 25th August and it is now the 12th September. I am definitely not pregnant as I am a virgin. I have bad anxiety and have been recovering pretty well but its all come back now because of this. I don't really have any other symptoms apart from occasionally being dizzy but I suffer with vertigo already. I'm just scared its something serious and I don't want to have a swab taken from my lady parts because I hate stuff like that? Anyone know what it could be?

I'm honestly not sure what kind of test they would have to do, but I can assure you that even if they do have to perform a papsmear it isn't painful, uncomfortable but that's about it.

I am gonna book a doctors appointment. Like I don't mind them doing an ultrasound, wee sample or blood test like that doesn't bother me at all. I just don't want a sample from you know where. Do you think I'll just need those three or a sample as well? I've just gone back to school and I was a little stressed about that so maybe that has something to do with it. But thank you :)

Honestly if your anxiety is up it can have an effect on your period because of the stress factor. Alot of things can cause your period to change or be late, but as much as you dislike it you may need to go to your doctor if it doesn't start . I hope everything works out for you soon.
