Why does my underwear smell like strong vinegar?

I know its gross, but I'm 16 and did engaged in unprotected sex with my boyfriend about a week and a half now. My period ended three days ago, and the next day after I experienced a brown discharge, but that ended only for a day. Perhaps that was only for to clean out the left over blood from menstruation. Now yesterday and today I'm having this white, creamy, and very few bubble discharge from my vagina. Then later this evening, I smell a strong vinegar-like smell coming from my underwear but I don't smell it through my clothes. I'm not experiencing any itching, burning during urinating or anything like that. Just discharge. My concern is to know if this could be a transmitted infection, or BV, yeast infection. I did research and they mentioned if your discharge smells like "fish" then it could be. But I don't understand I moe smells. Like vinegar. Plz help.

So, I would guess strong vinegar is more related to urine which has ammonia in it.  Maybe you leaked a little urine or it was hard wiping it away with your period?
