Period 5 weeks late, not pregnant
Hi. I am a 36 year old mom of 1.
My period is 5 weeks late.
There are no symptoms to make me suspect i am pregnant.
Last week I panicked and had a HCG blood test done, came back negative.
Did a hpt 4 days later, negative.
Did another blood test yesterday, 6 days after the 1st one, also negative.
I still have not had my period, no bleeding nothing.
I am really starting to worry as to what can be wrong.

I’m glad to hear that your HCG and other pregnancy test were done and they are negative. I would schedule an appointment with your OB/GYN. I would hope the doc would do an ultrasound to see if there is a cyst that is causing your period not to show. There are also other reasons a period can be late but that’s the first thing that comes to mind. Regardless see if you can get an appointment. Wishing you the best of luck!
