I'm 13 and a virgin my period is 6 days late HELP

So, I am 13 years old, I have never had sex, my period is ALWAYS on time except for last month it was 5 days early, this month it's 6 days late. I'm sort of freaking out rn. I haven't told my mom or my step mom. I am under a lot of stress. Lately I have been a bit depressed. I have had these crazy mood swings like I'm getting ready for my period, I have had some cramps in my back but, they weren't as bad as they usually are. I have had cramps in my stomach that hurt as much as they usually do. Can anybody help me find the cause of this without going to my mom or a gynecologist? Please.

In addition to the great comment before me I just wanted to let you know that stress and emotions can also sometimes cause changes in your body's monthly agenda. So try to relax.

You're ok and don't need to see a doctor. Since you're so young and only just started having periods, it's totally normal for them to be irregular. Until you get all the way through puberty (and a year or so later) once your hormones have settled into a pattern (which could take until in your late teens or early 20s), it is completely normal to have irregular periods. That means that they may come earlier or later or more frequently or you might skip several months in a row. All of that is totally normal and not a cause for any concern.
