I didn't mean to sound harsh. I didn't realize your situation completely. My actual concern was for you as well as your baby. If it was food poisoning, it could have been dangerous. I was just overlyconcerned. My apologies for sounding rude.
Hi Elicam, thanks for your words and support, I heard that from other people too. I guess it's just nerve wracking when it's your first pregnancy you worry about everything.
sparkeler, the reason why I didn't ask a health care provider to begin with is I am currently working on the east coast of africa and the nearest 'decent" medical hospital is two hours by plane!!
I am not stupid and take all necessary health precautions as any pregnant woman does. I am soon to be back in australia.
I just wanted some advice online, which maybe you should take on board. This is to support others questions and concerns not berate.
Hi .
I had the same thing last week. Got worried, but a lot of the women on the Maternal forum reassured me that it was OK.
On Wednesday, I went to my OBGYN and she said that it is not anything to worry about, as the baby is protected.
Your baby will be fine, but if you need to be reassured further a quyick call to your doctor would probably help ease your mind.
Well you should have discussed this with your health care provider when you thought you had food poisoning. They sugguest you do it promptly. I don't understand why you wouldn't even if you weren't pregnant. You should discuss this during your next appointment just to make sure the baby is ok.
