Problems with IUD

I got IUD 4 months ago. For past 2 months, I am nonstop spotting. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I do not know anymore when I suppose to have my period. I am very tired and I have small cramps. I worry to go to doctor becouse I do not have health insurance at the moment. The spotting has sometimes brownish color. I also bleed after intercourse. I always think the period starts, but then it stops. I start to worry. Maybe I should have the IUD removed? Please help. Thank you

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Brown discharge can be due to ovarian problems, hormonal imbalance, stress, anxiety, crashed dieting, use of birth control pills, change in environment, excessive exercise etc. In your case, it can be due to the IUD. I suggest you to get it evaluated from a gynecologist and get the birth control changed.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
