I get hot flashes and night sweats, although I am way past menopuase.

I get hot flashes and night sweats, although I am way past menopause. I notice it more when trying to sleep, throwing off my covers and then putting them back on, waking up with shirt wet from sweat.
I asked my doctor about that,  but he didn't want to deal with it. Any ideas?

Hello~First off, I would definitely see another doctor. Second, many women, including me, who are way past menopause, can still have those hot flashes. If possible, I would try some "Bio-Identical" Progesterone cream, this helps a lot of ladies with hot flashes and there are no side-effects from it.

I don't have any answer, but that happens to my partner as well - she is 62 and many times the bed has been saturated from her sweating and her doctor doesn't have any idea either - it is weird, I have asked about this before in another forum, but no one had any idea (and therefore no responses) I'll send a private message
