I'm 22 years old. Right before my 21st birthday I had eclampsia and started having seizures from it and they figured out alittle too late what was wrong and started me on the 24hr Magnesium Sulfate treatment. When I woke up I had lost mobility on the left side of my body. I had a brain hemmorage. I was just wondering how your situation played out.

Try http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000899.htm for information about eclampsia, which is apparently what toxemia is.  It sounds like the treatment she is getting is the correct treatment, and it is hard to tell from the article just how severe the issue is.  It is definitely more risky before the baby is delivered.  Good luck.
