I personally would wait a bit before going to your doctor.   At least another week.  And I do wish you luck on your trying to conceive journey.  You sound like you track your cycles. Remember, have sex starting on day 10 and do so for the next 10 days EVERY OTHER day.  That's a good way to catch the egg.  good luck hon

Hi there and welcome.  Well, it is sometimes hard to tell, isn't it?  Women CAN be late out of the blue when they hardly ever are and one mom to another, coming off those tiring and stressful holidays is a time that this could happen easily.  I also have been under the weather so that coupled with the holidays ---  I am late too.  But then again, it could have been a weird month where you ovulated later than normal and you got pregnant and it just isn't showing late (which you'd have had a late period with that scenario too if you didn't get pregnant).

so, I'd give it another week and then take another test.  it has to be a wait and see approach unless you want to go to your doctor for blood work.  good lluck

Hi, sweet pea,
Based on your symptoms alone, it is impossible to tell if you are pregnant or if what you are experiencing is stress related. However, the fact that you have been having unprotected sex for the past four months and that your period is now late makes pregnancy more likely. Though your blood test was negative, it may have been too early to tell. I recommend repeating a home pregnancy test today. It negative, you should repeat it in five days. Either way, please contact your doctor to discuss your symptoms and contraception options.
I hope this helps!
