Help! Tampon disintegrated in vagina!

Hello,

I recently noticed a strong foul odor from my vaginal region, but didn't know what the problem was. Then I was masturbating (with my hand) and felt something strange. There was a large clump of mushy/disintegrated cotton mixed with blood/other fluids at the very upper part of my vagina (closer to the cervix). I think that part of my tampon had broken off (or maybe a whole tampon??) and mixed with fluids, and maybe had been lodged further up during sex. There are still some fibers up there, and I'm not sure how to clean in... please help me!!!

Please visit a doctor a s soon as possible. He will clean everything and prescribe meds if they are needed.

Regards, John.

yes go to the doctors asap, dont try to get it out yourself incase you make things worse hun. did u just forget to take the last tampon out after your period? how long do you think its been up there? TSS is a very serious matter and can kill you if left untreated!!! i dont mean to scare you but i hope that you realise how important it is that you get this sorted sooner rather than later and dont be scared or anything, doctors wont laugh at you

i'd see your doctor asap because tampons can cause TSS and this can be fatal sometimes, this will definately need treating because the smell indicates an infection
