Suspected Cervical Incompetence apparently gone without explanation

Hi,

I have had a cervical conization 10 years ago because of HPV changes to the tissue. Afterward I was told many times that the majority of my cervix is gone and if i got pregnant I would probably need to have a cerclage as the cervix wouldn't be able to hold the baby (this was confirmed basically on every gynecological examination in the years to come saying that the cervix length is like 12 milimeters).

We started trying to conceive since 3 years back. Didn't work.
One year ago we decided to go for IVF and had 3 unsuccessful attempts so far.

A few months ago I had a hysteroscopy done so the doctors could check my uterus.
The OP report stated that they found stenosis of uterine cervix i.e. it was almost closed shut. They had probably loosened it up with the instruments during the procedure as afterwards I got pregnant immediately so to say i.e. the next month.

The fact the bothers us is that now during my pregnancy i was examined by 3 doctors and they all say there is no need for a cervix cerclage as my cervix has a normal length i.e. about 4 cm.
I've read online and checked with doctors that the cervix can NOT grow back after 8 years being too short.

It bothers me that no one can offer us an explanation.

Is it possible that after the stenosis was kind of treated the cervix length has increased?
Has anyone had similar experiences.

Thanks.
