Tampon!!! Omg help!!!

Okay I'm 14 and I just started my regular period.. I tried to put a tampon in but it seemed strangly difficult.. I have been worried that I left one in and that's why it was hard to put the other in. So I took the second one out and I put my fingers "up there" to feel around if there was one up there and I didn't feel anything. I read about doing that. I change my tampons every 4 hours so is there any chance there could be a tampon stuck up there? I'm extremly worried cause I'm young and I don't know how to tell my mom. Also the flow is comming out normally like usual. Sorry for the TMI but I really need help!

i know this is like really late but im 15 and i have a really irregular period like it can be up to like over 60 days inbetween each period, i just have no idea when it will next come, im going on holiday in 3 days and ive never used a tampon before and im really worried, i tried it before and it hurt and i couldnt get it in, but everyone says that is the only way you will be able to go in the water or in the pool. im really worried because today im not sure if ive came on because there was brown stuff in my underwear and ive put on fresh underwear and a pad and no blood has came out yet. ive worked out that im on for a week so i will be done by tuesday 9th, but if i dont start bleeding soon i will have to use a tampon and im super scared, any tips? p.s this sounds weird but for the first time ever i can actually say i want to come on my period! :P

Probably you just are putting the next tampon in at an angle different than you did the first time.  Try a different angle, and don't forget, it needs to go in all the way in order to be comfortable when you are wearing it.  If you have strong doubts and think there is one in there, and you don't want to talk to your mom, schedule an ob-gyn appointment.  You would be amazed at how common "lost tampon" is, doctors check for this all the time.  Good luck, honey.  Try a mirror to double-check for the string.

If you can't feel the tampon or string it's probably not there. As for it being difficult to insert a tampon, if you can put your finger in all the way, a tampon should go that far just as easily.  As an aside, if you did leave a tampon in too long it would smell really bad after a few days.
