Hi,
There's a chance that you may have pulled it out while you were drunk and forgot about it (it happens). Usually when a tampon has been inside for too long you would notice pressure (fullness) from inside your vagina from the swollen tampon, a foul odor, itchiness, and abnormal discharge within a few days. Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) includes: headache, fever, dizziness/fainting, foul vaginal odor, nausea/vomiting, and muscle aches. TSS is a potentially fatal bacterial infection; that's why you shouldn't leave tampons in for too many hours because of the risk ~ not a good idea to take the chance of infection. October was a few months back, I think you would've noticed signs of TSS awhile ago ( usually noticeable signs within a week). Also, you probably would've been able to locate the tampon with your fingers soon after you remembered it. You could always make an appointment for a pelvic exam w/ your doctor just to make sure all is well. Take Care
Thank u soooo much!! Would you say that after about four months with really no noticeable signs it's safe to say there most likely isn't because something would've happened by now?
