I have endo and yes it did make sex painful for me at times.  I've now had a lap done to remove scar tissue and intercourse no longer hurts.

Hello - I am sorry to hear you are dealing with this at such a young age.  I myself don't have endo. but my best friend and sister-in-law both have it badly, so I know a lot about it just by going through their struggles with them.

Have you seen not just a gynecologist but specifically a reproductive endocronologist?  I would strongly suggest getting your treatment from an RE if you aren't currently seeing one.

There are several books out there as well that detail alternative therapies, lifestyle changes, etc.  You might check out http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0007133103/ref=pd_cpt_gw_1/103-3888997-1217467

I believe there is also and endo. association...You might Google it to see if you can find out more information.  I believe they have several publications including something called the Endo. Sourcebook that my SIL mentions quite a bit.

Sorry I can't be of more help but I wanted to respond.  Hopefully someone w/ firsthand experience/knowledge can comment as well.
