First-----------  disregard above.  NEVER never douche.  Ladies, talk to your doctors-----  douching is not recommended EVER.  It actually causes many more problems because it washes out the natural flora we need to COMBAT yeast.  The above is unsafe advice and PLEASE disregard.

AGAIN, PLEASE DISREGARD ABOVE.  IT IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!

So, I do think you need to see a doctor for a possible UTI.  They will, as stated, prescribe an antibiotic that clears it right up.  If you have an overgrowth of yeast, the doctor can give you a tablet that rids you of it almost immediately.

I had a yeast infection a few weeks ago and used Monostat one day treatment which has a higher concentration of medicine.  I also ate probiotic yogurt.  It was gone in two and a half days.  good luck

It sounds more like a UTI. have your doc prescribe an antibiotic, and douche with 1/2 cup warm water, 1/2 cup vinegar  and 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide for 2 weeks.
