I have similar problems, and have been researching these things in the Chicago area.  Believe me I know what a big job it is. I wouldn't mind sharing what I know if you want to give me your phone number.  I don't have the patience to write everything down, and besides, I'm afraid we'd miss something.  So, if you are interested in talking to me, send me your number, and a good time to call.
Good Luck, Anne

Go to fascrs.org to find a colorectal surgeon in your area.  They would be the specialists for colon and rectal problems.
