If you are washing properly and in between your labia. Then there should be no really bad smell.
It may be that you have bacterial vaginosis. Your sexual partner may have to be treated too.
I would suggest that you see your doctor for a swab to be taken to confirm this and then you can be treated appropriately. In the meantime do not have any unprotected sex. If you are allergic to latex you can by latex free condoms now.
Don't use soaps and shower gels to wash down below, this destroys the natural flora down below and is also very drying. Also don't use any perfumed soaps. Only wear cotton underwear and don't wear tights and tight clothing.
I do not know what "bups" are.
It is normal to sweat if the weather is hot or you have been exerting yourself, it is the body's way of keeping cool.
Sweating with a high fever is not normal and would indicate a bacterial or viral infection.
Shower before sex as well as after. The guy needs to also. Hand washing is critical. Guy's bodies are much more tolerant of bacteria and yeast, so they have no idea the importance of being clean.
Avoid eating much sugar and take a probiotic to keep your flora balanced, but if the smell is fishy, that is BV, and you will probably need an antibiotic to clear that up. Not treating it can cause serioius infection and infertility down the road. Do not take a probiotic while taking an antibiotic because that's a waste of money. Take the probiotic after the antibiotic.
Hi mislove,
Okay, by the word "bup" do you mean bumps? If you do mean bumps,
the bumps might be a result of the sweating you talk about. You talk
about smelling bad down there. I've heard that DOVE SENSITIVE soap
is helpful with this problem. Dove is very mild on the skin and was once
recommended to me by a dermatologist. This same dermatologist
recommends wearing cotton underwear as this helps your skin breathe
more easily. Some other poster suggested the idea of both of you
showering before being intimate. A good idea too. Hope this helps. Eve
If you don't feel like showering straight after having sex, do make sure that at least you go for a pee.
Make sure that you and he always wash your hands after using the toilet and before eating food.
It is not necessary to wash before having sex and in fact some men prefer the natural odours of a woman, but definitely important if you practice oral sex.
Best wishes.
Hi Love, You have not said but if your on BC and not using condoms, this if its just started could be down to your b/f sperm, find out if he is on or has been recently any antibiotics, these tend to give us guys a smell to our sperm, could be just that.
Good Luck
