irregular menstrual period

Hello Ladies,

Can some one shed some light on the best way to keep track of an irregular menstrual period. I have the hardest time keeping up with it. I was getting every 28 to 33 day for a long time, now I'm getting it on day 16 or 19 and most recently a week after it had stop? I dont get it. the nurse says its normal since I'm taking medication for PCOS. I still don't get it.

help please!!!

Lili

thank you ladies.

I am trying to get pregnant hopefully by April 09', (my husband is deployed right now) my Dr. put me on the pill, as well on metforming (to fight PCOS) since I've been in the pill my irregular period has just become my crazy period and all the nurse can tell me is that I'm having "breakthrough" bleeding! I'm wigging out.

If you aren't ttc, taking a birthcontrol pill is THE best way to track and even regulate your periods. W/ PCOS- the hormonal imbalance can cause wacky cycles. But the pill is the only way I know of to track it.
