moods swings

I had a full hysterectomy 2 years ago, since then I seem to be very moody, snappy and at times can get very aggressive.  this is nothing like me. it is getting to the stage I don't want to go out as if anyone says anything I can turn on them.  This is more so when I have had a drink which I only usually do once a week.  It has caused my family embarrassment as they cannot do anything if I go off on one.  On 2 occasions I have turned to hit a member of my family.  I have never been like this and don't like been like this.   I was loosing weight through weight watchers but this past year I cannot seem to get any lower. I spoke to the doctor about this & they just said that was normal & I could find I would put upto 2.5 stones on???? Is this normal after this length on time.

doctors advised me against going on HRT as said I should be ok going through the change without it with me been 47 at the time of the op.  I had thyroid checked that came back fine.  may look at herbal medicines not considered the before but feel anything is worth a go.

Yes. Your hormones are all over the place. Is it possible for you to go on an HRT to level them or look into Bio-Identical hormones which is a natural hormone?

Have you had your Thyroid checked? Does Thyroid issues run in your family?
