Brown Spotting

I am 19 and sexually active, and regularly have sex with no protection (silly i know! and wont be happening again!) but my partners always pulls out. For the past 4 days I have had brown spotting/discharge, heavy on the first 2 days and very light since. My period is due any time now. I have taken a pregnancy test but the result was negative. I have not experienced anything like this before. Any help will be welcomed.

I would wait a few days after that and then take a test if your period hasn't shown up.  Good luck and let us know what happens!

My period is due on Friday so should I take a test after then? The bleeding has completely stopped now. We aren't putting ourselves in that position again. Thanks very much for all your help.

Hi there and welcome.  Well, it could be a fluke. That happens.  Brown spotting can be old blood coming out.  Or . . .   it could be implantation bleeding.  Time will tell.  Do you know exactly your period is due?  When it is a few days past if a regular period doesn't start, I would buy an early response at home pregnancy test, use first morning's urine and check to see.

Pulling out is playing with fire.  If a pregnancy would be upsetting, I wouldn't put yourself in that position.  Be really really strict about this to protect yourself against a stressful situation!  good luck
