If you are not trying to get pregnant, why are you having unprotected sex?

The test should be accurate, so you are not pregnant. Many things can cause a late period, such as stress, hormonal fluctuations, illness, medication side effects, and so on. Just try to be patient and wait for your period to come. If it does not come in another 2 weeks, make a doctor's appointment. Then if you continue to have sex, you need to be using some form of birth control or else you will end up pregnant. Having a baby is a major life change (Babies are hugely expensive, time consuming, etc.)  and if you are not ready for that, then you need to protect yourself for your own well-being and future.

Yes, you might be pregnant. You can take a home pregnancy test 2 weeks after having sex and get an accurate result, so make sure to take a home pregnancy test tomorrow morning with first morning urine. Are you trying to get pregnant?
