Hi there, for 6 months now I have had chronic pain in my right pelvic region. I got an ultrasound which revealed a 1 cm cyst that was bleeding into itself on my right ovary(left ovary/fallopian removed.) Doctor said no big deal, it was a "normal" cyst. Pain kept up and dr. did a laporoscopy in Sept. to find adhesions from 1st surgery to remove left ovary, she removed all that but didn't remove cyst, again said it was normal and shouldn't be causing my pain. After surgery pain has never subsided, all symptoms point to cyst. Basically forced dr. to do a second ultrasound 4 days ago and the tech said the cyst is now 3.8 cm and once again hemmoraging. I am in a lot of pain and have not heard back from the doctor(office is closed until Monday) Why didn't she remove the cyst when she did laporoscopy? Now it's bigger and still bleeding into my abdomin and causing a great deal of pain. Plus, the worst part is my husband and I wanted to try to get pregnant soon. I'm 34 with no children of my own. Last month I bled for 2 day stretches 3 times on top of my regular period. My doctor won't listen to me. There is not much online about hemmoraging cysts and I don't know if I'm in trouble as fas as waiting to hear what this doctor is going to suggest next. Can I request that the cyst be removed? And if she won't, should I find someone who will or is this standard for such a problem. I'm at the end of my rope with this. Please anybody have any suggestions or similar experiences???? Thanks for reading my post.
