tampon

he my name is jeena and i just started using a tompon. well this kind of embaressing but yesterday i had put on a tampon and i went to the washroom to do a number two . but the problem is that i didnt take off the tampon before i did #2 so i flushed the tioilet without lookin g in the toilet and then i went to take a shower when i went to pull the tampon out it wasnt there is it possible that it came out whn i was using the toilet or can it be lost somewhere in my body?

hi, apparently there is nowhere for a tampon to go, have u tried looking for the string? i guess it is possible for it to of come out in the toilet but i am not sure it would flush down. But if you do think it is stuck then i suggest you go to the doc (dont worry they c it al the time), if it gets stuck and u leave it u could get TSS toxic shock syndrome which can be fatal x

There's nowhere for it to go inside your body; your cervix is MUCH too small for it to pass through, and your vagina is only 4-5" deep. Insert a finger and kinda sweep around for it. If you don't find it, it's possible it slipped out when you had your bowel movement.

And don't worry about TSS. It is *extremely* rare, 1-2/100,000 women 15-44.
