im having alot of trouble. i just started my period like yesterday. me and my mom are not close AT ALL. im too scared to tell her about it. no matter what anyone says to me i just cant. its really uncomfortable. So, i have no one to help me with my problem. I have tried many times but i cant get a tampon to go in. im really scared that i am like one of the 2% of the population that have too small holes and cant wear tampons. ive made sure that im putting it in at an angle and everything. so i just need some help. what do i do?!

i agree emandgcsmom no DONT PUT VASELINE IN YOUR VAGINA into the vagina that will upset the normal ph balance try to sit on the toilet and relax your muscles and slow insert the tampon until it is comfortable in and change every 2-4 hours. use the lowest absorbecy your period needs like if the flow is light then use regular if it is heavy use super. but try and alternate between pads and tampons to let the vagina breathe.
