periniel stitches
will the pain,burning and itchy from Perennial stitches 15 days post rectoceal?
Thank you , 3 weeks post op I had a good 2 wk checkup...my symptoms the seemed to get worse right before the stitched fell out... I eased the burning by rinsing with water after urination... also Vaseline on them per Dr helped...thanks for your imput...

Complete healing from rectocele require4-6 weeks. The symptoms may be due to healing. Itching is a sign of healing but if you are having considerable pain then the possibility of infection of the stitches needs to be ruled out.
