wrong time? or it dosent matter?

my period suppose to have came feb 12, so i decided to take a pregnancy test, right after we had sex last night. the test came out negative, but i was wondering could us having sex affect the results of the test, and if it helps he did *** inside me, and yes we are trying to have a baby....please help me if u can

The hcg in your urine should not be affected by sex. The best time to test is right after you wake up after at least 4 hours of sleep. You may want to test again when your hcg (if you're pregnant) would be more highly concentrated in your urine.

I agree with AnnJ.  Having sex would have zero effect on the integrity of the hpt result.  Wait a few more days and take another hpt, using first morning urine, if your period does not come.
