hey thats interesting, wow what a story they probably didnt have enough evidence about the Aunt to convict..I bet theres a few murderers running around .I have heard of on and off lights before , again it must be you that is 'sensitive' for want of knowing the correct term.
We're not sure. I do know there were at least 2. A boy and a girl. They must have been young because they LOVED to play. My mom and I heard them playing all the time. A few times she thought it was me in my bedroom. (It wasn't...I was usually in the living room, which was very large, playing with the dog) We do know that during the civil war our house had been used as a hospital not only for the soldiers (there were a few big battles in our area) but for the local families.
I lived near there most of my life and I know that they've had at least 10 families live there in the past 15 years.
After seeing my dead uncle I knew there was SOMETHING different with me. We moved from there and closer to my grandparents (when my pap started getting sick) so mom could help them out. A few years after being there my uncle retired from the Marine corps, got married and settled down in the same neighborhood. 3 years after getting married his wife shot him (a whole big mess that we're still fighting to get her put behind bars 10 years later) and killed him. Things started that night. It started at our house. (my mom and I were EXTREMELY close to my uncle. He was always at our house, hanging out, watching me and my brother) He was a prankster. We would have things go missing, be moved and what not. One night we were watching tv and the light in my moms bedroom started going on and off (her room was behind the living room) after a few minutes of that the tv just shut off. He still messes with us every now and then...10 years later. I think it's just to let us know he's still around.
you certainly are a sensitive person or is it called being aware, something must allow you to see beyond what most of us can see, darn I know theres a name for it . My Granma used to go to seances with HG Wells,Liverpool ,England and they tried to call up the spirits, they used a weegdie board aswell, bet I havent spelt that right.
Wow, that is real first-hand poltergeist experience.
I wonder if the kids (who used to run in the hallway) were connected in some way to the dead man in the chimney? I wonder if they were trying to alert attention in some way?
We moved because of the skeleton. It just freaked my mom out too much. The house we moved into after that was quiet until my Uncle Dave passed on. Then things began happening there. (The house we lived in was a restored carriage house. Really really pretty but MUCH too close to aunt and uncles house. lol)
He'd passed away suddenly from a heart attack when he was in his mid 60's. A few days after his funeral I was sitting at my desk doing homework. I remember looking at my clock and it was 8:30 pm. (an hour before bedtime) I looked up and out my bedroom window (which faced my aunt and uncles house.) and I saw a tall man dressed all in white standing by the big oak tree. I watched him for a few minutes until he began walking. To my aunts house. I thought I was dreaming but I asked Aunt Jean about it the next day and she said she'd seen him that night and had a letter from him.
ooohhhh that would freak me out alright.. Did your family move because of the happenings' ?
