I know there are a bunch of scam artists out there, but as for missing the sex of a baby....our doctor said our son was a girl. I ran out and spent a couple hundred dollars on pretty little girl dresses and the likes, and the day he is born-definately a boy. I had nothing to bring him home in, so off to the store I went.
My mom used to go to a psychic. Total scam. She said my marriage would last 8 months, we're going on 3 years. Said my brother would marry his first serious g/f, he's on serious g/f number 3. My mom told her I was pregnant with twins, psychic said one of each. Mom believed her and bought boy and girl things. I have two boys. She said mom's marriage would be happily ever after, she's going through a nasty divorce
I have always been kind of skeptical of psychics. I grew up in Las Vegas Nevada, and there are quite a few there, most of them scam artists I am sure.
The story you told about your friend is both funny and tragic at the same time. When and if I get information from a "psychic", I allow myself time to digest it and look at it from many different angles.
This particular psychic just nailed too many things that were right on the button. Some of it was of pretty major importance, and really too random to cover by an open ended statement. I was impressed.... I think I am going to visit this psychic as well. Its slightly unfortunate that she knows a bit about me from my wife's visit, but I'd like to see what she comes up with.
I haven't but I do think some are the real deal while there are others that are just scam artists.
Sounds like your wife went to a good one. Very interesting.
A friend of mine many years ago went to one on a regular basis. The psychic told her she would meet and marry a very wealthy man. So this dimwit quit her job and ran up her credit card bills! Needless to say Daddy Warbucks never showed.
But that's an interesting story. I'd love to have a consultation with a real one!
