Most sites I might add photos to usually ask for jpeg so that's what I use.
I uploaded it to my profile page too. I wonder if the file is just too big. I know the first time I tried it was and I did reduce it. It's a painting I did on my computer. When you upload do you upload it in jpeg or something else like tiff? Charley
Charley,
You have to keep tyring until you get this painting posted... I really want to see it.
Remembr this is a new format - we have to play around a bunch until we figure out how everything works.
my best,

Sorry, I think I just didn't wait long enough. With dial-up and a slow computer it can take awhile for a screen-sized image. I remember now that you said yours were that size. I'll look again when we come back in - hopping out for a quick bite to eat now.
Oooooo, I still didn't get it. I clicked on the numbers that appeared above your mssg. (usually indicates a pic) - and only got a white page.
Looking forward to seeing the painting. I attended an art group at the studio of an art therapist that was open to people who came through the Cancer Connection offices - and enjoyed it very much.
Besides painting we did printmaking (a couple of times) and collage. I liked this one because it was called 'Painting for Joy' - as opposed to the other group that was 'Art Therapy'. I said, I'm sorry, but I have no intention of painting my cancer or my feelings about it - I just have a need for slinging about some art supplies. :-) That was fine with Lucy.
I was an art major and have taught in public schools (years ago) - but, don't have the self discipline to actually do it unless I'm going somewhere to work with a group on a regular basis. I'm the same way about writing.
