Ive had insomnia since i was 5.
To stop the insomnia a bit, drink tea or another refreshing sort of beverage righhhht after dinner.
also, it can be cold or hot....make sure its green or white tea though. snapple works if you like snapple.
any tea really.
what also might help is if you shower at around 11-12 pm, it relaxes you.
sometimes im up till6 and get like one hour of sleep, so i can sypatheize with you.
also, you might want to grab your phone and gab a little. talking can make you very tired.
just not too loud or your mom will rage haha!
