Hi, I was found to have three liver lesions, by chance when I was given a chest CT scan. My largest one is 1.4x1.3x1.2cm. One lesion they said looked like a small cyst. The third one, was too small to identify so my doctor said we would do CT scans and ultra sounds every 6 months for a year and then do ultra sounds, every year in order to keep an eye on them. I have no symptoms, until I start thinking they are something bad, then my mind takes off. Recently I had a scan that showed the biggest one was growing, so my doctor sent me for a beta blocker cancer maker test. This freaked me out, but it came back negative. I've since had another scan and the hemongioma is back to the same initial size and they can't find the other ones. My doctor calls it a "disease of Technology" He says there are thousands of people born with these everyday and they are harmless. Try not to worry. I would ask my doctor for the Cancer marker blood test, since it is pretty accurate. That would rule out a malignancy. I just hate having anything in my body that doesn't belong there but then again, I guess it makes us unique. Good Luck and try not to worry. Stress is the real killer. ZJR
My first symptoms were my stomach enlarging. Always had a very small waist and I looked like I was pregnant. Also very low energy, constipation, excessive gas issues, coughing, anemic, lightheadness, light colored weird smelling stool, dark urine, adominal pain (thought a rib was poking me or something) especially when I driving for an hour or so.
Had some boats of really bad pain with symptoms of a gallbladder attack. Gallbladder tested and was 85% funtional (which is good/normal) but doctor told me the reaction to the second part of testing where they inject the hormone that contracts the gallbladder was not normal. I have severe cramping/pain, cold sweats, severe naseua. Doctor doesnt know why or what the cause of the bad reaction to 2nd part of the galbladder test.
I also have a mass on the lower outside right side of my rib cage where I am having pain from also. Was told its not caused from my liver hemangioma.
My liver hemangioma is the size of a baseball.
