Well its up to you if u want to continue the test..  9.1 HCY is not bad considering all your other test are dam good..  Under 15for someone your age is great.. Hey if u listen to some of thee doctors they will want u to take HUGE doesages of folate, b12, b6, & etc THEN what they dont tell u that to much FOLATE has ben shown to cause prematue prostate issues..  I would for the hell of it take another HCY test, then you got 2 results to go by, plus it never hurts to tell your doctor you want a VITAMEN PROFILE TEST.. You will have to spoon feed your doctor and TELL HIM what vitamens u wanted to be tested for , plus ask him what they recommend.. I would get tested for vit c, b12, b6, b3(b6 or b3 is folate- i cant remember, D, mercury, calcium, and what ever else.. this why u will see if u "need" any supplements.. AS GOOOD AS U EAT I Bet u wont need any..  Anexity has ruined my workouts and takes a little toll on my overall happiness.. but u gotta fight through it an denjoy the people u love, because times keeps rollin...

take care

Hi. Thanks much for the reply. I have overall chol. level of 127. hdl is 64. ldl about there too. CRP level is perfect. Other than the homo. Cyst. level, I think Im ok. I take ativan as needed for anxiety. BP is always good well under 120/80 always, sometime lower like when relaxed 105/65, etc. before bed) even when I do daily exercise (cardio or weights) My hgt is 5'8", 158 lbs. Bodyfat is low--under 11% or so.

I feel good & have energy but my anxiety personality is my prob. I eat low fat fish, chick or tempeh. Olive oil/spices, coco oil. Steel cuts oats & beans & all organic type berries, apples, bananas, grapefruit, etc. Lotsa daily veggies like brocc., cauli, spinach, kale, celery, carrots, organic red leaf lett., etc. Handful of nuts/seeds daily like walnuts (organic), almonds, cashew, pistachio, pecan, brazil, pumpkin, sunflower, etc.

Drink decaf green tea, very little coffee, chamomile tea, pomegrante juice, lots of h2o. Ok, I take fish oil/multi/milk thistle, magnesium cholride liquid, etc. I drink 2 glass/nite red wine or 2 beers/nite almost daily. Ok, thanks for your help.

I am far from a Doctor, but I think i know a hell of allot more than these Doctors on HCY levels in blood from the stupid responces i get... I would NOT worry at all about a 9.2 level in a healthy 50yo male IF the following is controled
1) BLOOD PRESSURE IS FAIR 140/90 and below(mainly under 140/90 in the am, 140/90 throughout the day, & it should drop at night) not higher-remember BLOOD PRESSURE rises with age so 120/70 is tough unless u are on meds and who wants to be on meds constantly.. Also if u are generally a nervous person you AUTOANOMIC system can raise you BP and Doc's want to give u all type of meds for it.
2) cholestrol-- under 300 with a good RATIO -- If your cholestrol is high SIMPLY STOP EATING ANIMAL PROTIEN AND WATCH WITHIN 3 WEEKS YOUR CHOLESTROL WILL DROP!

3) YOU DONT SMOKE AND DRINK LITTLE ALCOHOL..

4) your blood imflamation markers are okay.. CRP blood test should below 1.0

If all is good above 9.1 hell even under 25 wont kill you.. REMEMBER 50% of people who die of heart diese have HIGH HCL levels the same with cholestrol(50%) so what about the remaining 50% people who die of heart dieases with NORMAL HCL levels..  makes no sense, but one thing DoES MAKE SENSE

SUPER HIGH LEVELS OF HCY - 100 + does cause issues not sure clog arterys. most people DONOT Havethis unless that have the GENE that limits there bodys from processing a certain amino acide in protien.. when this happen people usualy have heart issuesat a young age...
LISTEN I had a HCL level of 20.1 AFTER i lost 30lbs eating  a healty diet.. I ate so much beans, brown rice, lean meats, etc, etc , water, etc, etc, Mr.Clean eating  and my HCY was high and my cholestrols was EXCELLANT(dropped 50points), well I was upset about my HCL LEVELS, then my Cardio doc and this website said "HEY TAKE A BUNCH OF vitamens like B12,folic, etc, tmg, crap and more crap, SOi went out and bought all thaty crap , then i ask myself well what are your CURRRENT BLOOD LEVELS for these vitamens and when i checked my levels WERE HIGH AS HELL.. So  whats the moral of the story.. I GAIN BACK 30lbs I dont feel great, but my HCY LEVEL DROPPED t0 8.1 and my cholestrol went back up to 240/HDL 69 RATIO IS UNDER 5...  Figure that one out?

Email me at dax 0007 at hotmall comm is u want more info.. all these docs want u o talk special crap and read books.. Some of the meds are goood, but u need to know u current blood levels...

take care and trust me 9.1 is hardlyanything to worry about
