When I was 8 I had one. Yeah 8 years old. I went in for a routine tonsilectomy and the anestesiologist at first didn't use enough gas to knock me out, then cranked it up too much. I ended up having a seisure mid surgery and was "dead" for about 4 minutes. All I remember was seeing my great grandma, great grandfather and my aunt sarah (all who passed on years before).
Hello Ginger, I've never had this experience or personally know anyone who has, but wanted to let everyone know about a new show starting.
Sun December 5th at 10pm/9c on Bio Channel there is a new show called "I Survived, Beyond and Back" about people who have died and came back to life. They tell about what they experienced when they were dead etc. It looks like it is going to be really interesting. Have A Nice Night and God Bless!
I would love to watch that but can't get that channel. I wonder if I could get it free online?
That makes me wonder if all our loved ones really are waiting to greet us when we pass over? I hope to see my mother and father and all the dogs I knew.
Hello Ginger, The "I Survived Episodes can be watched at Biography.com, but I don't know if they will do the same thing with the Beyond and Back Series, but it's very possible. You may have to watch them a week or so later than you would have on TV, but at least you will be able to see them.
Also, there is No Doubt in my mind that our loved ones are here with us right now. After I recoup from my surgery next month I'm going to be writing about some more things I've experienced since childhood. I have been trying to decide whether or not to tell about my experience with a Spirit that I am 100% sure was/is my mother, and probably will after I tell about some of my other less personal experiences. I took a picture that same night but don't know if I'll post it or not because too many things get sent all over the net way too often, and I really don't want that happening.
Have A Wonderful Night and God Bless!
I havent personally but my great aunt (who is still alive, shes now 90) told me a lot of years ago that she clinically died on the operating table while having a thyroid operation.
She said she was floating out of her body above everyone and heard and saw everything that was going on. She also said that she returned to her body with a hard thud when she was brought back etc... a painful thud getting back into herself.
she relayed back to the medical staff what she encountered and they didnt seem to take much interest or bat an eyelid she said.
But to me, these people have probably had experiences of it before and know it happens, whereas i think my aunt thought they didnt believe her.
x
Hello Denise, that is so interesting hearing about your aunt's out of body experience. From the books I've read and the research I've done on this topic it appears most describe very similar experiences. As far as the medical staff, I don't know if they believed her or not. They may have thought she was hallucinating from the anesthesia which occurs more frequently than out of body experiences do. There are a lot of people, especially those in the science field, that refuse to believe anything unexplained until they experience it first hand. Thanks for sharing your story, it was very informative. Have A Wonderful Night!
While having my 1st son 11 years ago I had a lot of complications and had a siezure and stopped breathing for like 1 minute and a half. I don't remember anything, but a womans voice whispering to me. I don't know if it was a nurse, or what. I like to think it was my Mom who passed away 27 years ago. I didn't even know that I had stopped breathing, My Dad told me after 1 day.
I bet it was your mom ,frank, its a wonderful thought anyway isnt it ..
Yes it is, I like to think it was her. It makes me smile every time someone asks me about the ordeal!
Yes I wish I could see my mom ..
glad to see all the stories....thank you very much
I was not being monitored by a doc so therefore there is no way of saying I was clinically dead or not but I believe I was on the brink of it or dealing with the process of it. I had had a virus and the Doc didn't do anything for it. I had just come back home and was told to walk it off. So I fought it and fought it. Drank a bunch of juice/fluids yet still seemed very sick. Went to bed. It was in the middle of the winter Christmas Eve to be exact and there was always an awful draft of cold in that room so I had a space heater on. (Long story short.) woke up in a panic . Heard everything around me especially the heater start dropping in pitch as if some one powered it all off all going down kind of like when the electricity goes out and something is running . I suddenly felt extreme terror yet extreme love. No way at 25-26 was I ready to accept dying. 27 now and still can't deal with death . So I said I love you and please not yet. Next thing i know i'm out of bed in a matter of seconds when I came too trying make sense of it all in a panic pacing around. Didn't go back to sleep for hours after that.
