Tell Me What I saw And Heard

When i was younger my father and i saw a ball of extreamly fast light wizz past our faces and heard a car that wasnt there ( full story see my post below called WOW)

I have looked and searched for answers and would love to know..

Facinating guys just facinating, I have seen shooting stars but nothing like you have described , the sky is wonderful isnt it, we should share here when we get news of happenings in the sky very often its past by the time it hits the news .

Hi there. I am new to the group but just thought that I would comment on the ball of light thing. I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. This place is so beautiful. Anyway A friend and I went to the Blue Ridge Parkway which is way up in the mountains. I love to gaze at the stars there because there is no artificial light and you can see millions of stars. We pulled over at what is called an overlook to star gaze. We both got out  and began walking toward the edge of the overlook. That is when the Big Ball Of Light appeared over the trees about 100ft away from us. I was frozen dead in my tracks. My buddy takes off running back to the car yelling at me not to get close to the thing. I couldn't help myself. The closer that I got the more agile the ball of light became swooping down and taking off like a rocket in the night sky. Crazy story I know but true. It changed my life. I live close to the brown mountain lights but this thing wasn't at all like that. Hope someone has a similar story to share.

I know what an orb is and this was no orb.  This was a flash of light that filled the entire room, brightly, very brightly.  It was brief and over almost as soon as it started.  Even if every lamp and light in the room had been on, there is no way it would have generated the amount of light that I saw.

Hello, what you seen is most commonly referred to as an Orb which is suspected to be a ball of spiritual energy.  Other names they are sometimes referred to are plasm, entities luminosities or balls of lights.   You can learn more about these and view some kick butt pics  at www.celticgardens.com.au/spheres_of_light.html.  Enjoy

You seem to have seen the same thing as me, then. When it happened it looked so physical. I mean, it made me wonder if there is some government testing going on in the depths of the night, when most people wouldn't notice. There is an aircraft base not far from me as the crow flies towards the south, which was where the light showed. Maybe about 15 miles away.
But in my case it's not the first time I've seen something inexplicable (and I felt of a physical nature) One night both my husband and myself saw the weirdest thing....a huge ball of flame lit the horizon in the east. Not only that but it came once, twice, three times, and there was a crashing sound too (not thunder) We called the police, sure a tanker must have gone up on a big road about 6 miles away. They said nothing had happened. We then called the military who do maneuvres in a place about 25-30 miles away. They didn't have an explanation for that either. And it definitely wasn't lightning, or even ball-lightning.

I had that  happen once.  In my bedroom there was a huge flash of light and then just gone.  NO idea what it was but I did burn some sage and pray.  And let whoever caused it  know I knew they were there and please not to do that again.  But I can't explain at all what happened.

Wow! I don't know what that could be. I've had some strange experiences with lights, but different to what you describe. Once I woke at 4 in the morning and went to the bathroom. On my way back to bed I saw a huge white light that lit up the whole sky outside, and my room, and was gone in 2 seconds....
No it wasn't lightning. I have never seen lightning like that. there was no thunder either. I sat up for ages and waited but no more lights, and nothing happened.

Id say it was about 2/3 feet. about the size of a ornage with colours through it..

how do you mean a ball of fast light ,how far past your face , how far from you ?:it sounds intriguing
