well we called this a 'Pirates eye' but I hear there are variations ...take a slice of bread put in a skillett a little oil, , make a hole in the middle ,break an eggy in the hole and grate some cheese finely over the top ,turn it over so its cooked both sides voila ..a Pirates eye ', my kids loved to make this themselves with me supervising ...
brings back memories. i used to make this for my sons when they were little

my husband like breakfast, every weekend i make for him this breast fast,its easy and fast to cook.and yes i also like it. thanks
