Do You hesitate to tell what you've experienced?

Hi!  I've had paranormal experiences from childhood on.  I don't advertise this.  I guess I just did!  But for those I talk to on a casual basis and even my own family, I'd never tell what I've seen and felt.  I know my children have inherited this ability.  We were touring old homes while on vacation.  That's when I first learned that they could sense them as well.  Sometimes I think we're magnets for the paranormal.  We can't seem to escape it.  It's awkward walking into someone's home or a public building.  You know something is there or sense it but I don't say a word and try, with little success, to block it.

Now I'm NOT a medium.  I don't call people from the dead.  I don't advertise myself as a sensitive or a medium.  But sometimes I can see them.  Other times I just sense or smell them.  And it's not always very pleasant.


How about you?  Do you share your experiences?  Or would you rather not tell other people?  Would you be upset if it were public knowledge that you can sense or see the paranormal?

I don't know if our situation is sortta the same or not.But i can read a person like a book as soon as i look in there eye's i don't like this because it has left me kinda alone.Alot of the ppl that everyone they think are good ppl i can see rite away they are not.Even worse they can tell most of the timethat i see thru them ad willhave very little to do with me onyte oe's ty have fooled.Kitty

I have spoken to few people concerning my experiences.  Honestly, I havent had too many.  I dont know if I'd be upset if it were public knowledge or not.  I think you could work that any number of different ways depending upon your accuracy.

We had an old lady walk into my family's life.  She was a widowed house keeper, and quite a bit of the grandmotherly type.  She would be at the house 2-3 mornings a week.  Not too sure what mom was paying her, as my mother was an elementary school teacher and they dont make a ton of money.

Anyways, as a child I had deja-vu all of the time.  I also used to get uneasy feelings about certain people and or places.  I never really spoke of it to my mother, thinking it was probably pretty normal, intuition if you will.  I brought this up to this lady, and quite frankly she said, "there's not a lot of people like us".  This was the first time I made mention of this, and her statement kind of spun me out.  I didnt get what that meant.

As soon as she entered our lives, she left.  I would see her from time to time and would try to exchange cordials with her on the street.  She would acknowledge me by name, and thats it.  A few years later I got it into my head that she was a witch.  By the time I reached 11-12 years of age, I pretty much all but lost this ability.  I did recently know that my wife or her car would be in a vehicle v.s. animal accident and my 16 year old who is still learning to drive hit a deer Saturday night.  I made the comment to be real carefol of animals on Friday..... just weird.
