Wine bottles

Has anyone ever built a boarder out of old wine bottles? I was thinking of trying this on one of the smaller flower beds...thoughts?

Personally I dont care for the look. I dont know, I was thinking they wouild be upright and nice colors. I suppose if they were upright they would break. We all have our own tastes though, so go for it if you like the look! It probably looks better in person too.

I'm not too worried about them being broken. There is nothing/no one around the flower bed I wanted to try them in. I think if I stack them like a brick wall with the tops facing into the flower bed they should be strong. I hope. :)

hahah well I would never had thought of bottles as a border, I may be afraid the glass got broken in the garden with animals around ,otherwise it sounds interesting...
