Trying to lose about 20 lbs since January 2012

I'm 27 yrs old, 5'8 and weight 155 trying to get back down to 135. I've been trying to lose weight since Jan. of this yr. and I've been watching what I've been eating, exercising for about 2 hrs. and I have not even lost 1 lbs. I don't know what I"m doing wrong, but I'm at the point that I canceled my gym membership. I've stopped for a few weeks, and now started back walking about 1.5 miles about 2 times per week. and been watching what I'm eating. but still have not lost anything. What am I doing wrong..

Dr. Beckerman,
My weight may be appropriate, but I feel very uncomfortable this weight.. I was never this weight and I feel better when I'm around 135. I've always been that weight, except for when I started to take birth control tablets right before my wedding 1 yr. ago.

Any suggestions??
