9 days late, 3 negative HPTs, could I still be pregnant??

My period is currently 9 days late. Ever since I had my daughter (feb. '06) my period was right on schedule every 43 days.  Well this month it has not shown up yet! For the last 2 weeks Ive had cramps, and than just for the last four or five days Ive had backaches, headaches, Ive been VERY queasy, and extremely exhausted! And I dont know if Ive imagined things but my sense of smell has been QUITE hightened these last few days! Ive taken three HPT's and all were NEGATIVE. I tested when I was 2 days late, 5 days late and than yeserday, 8 days late. Im wondering if its still possible that I could be pregnant and just getting a negative response on the HPT's.  I havent really heard of anyone going 9 days late and still not getting a positive result.  AND if Im not pregnant what else could be wrong??  My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for about 6 months now and this would be wonderful news!  I know we had sex quite a few times around the dates that I ovulated.  Any information would be great! Okay..so iv been under alot of stress lately and missed my period. I took a hpt and a drs pregnancy test the first couple of days I was late and they came back negative..im working on being 11 days late and on the 9th day I got a light brown discharge..I thought it was my period coming but I still haven't received it..iv been having lower back pains and sleeping alot lately and have to urinate alot more often...im just wondering what this could be ...could you get pregnant while your suppose to be on your period but missed it? Id very much appricate any opinions!

Hi I'm new to this site but I'd really like some help. I had a mc 6 wks ago and I'm still waiting for my period. I have tender breasts and some dizzyness. And 2 days ago I started spotting dark brown blood. Its only there every so often and isn't much need for a pad. I have done 3. Urine test which were negative. But I'm unsure if this spotting could be new implantation bleeding? Any thoughts?

hi everyone im new to this + found this site very interesting' im currently 9days late for my period but haven taken a test yet. ive had to have many tests to see if i have polycistic ovarian syndrome & endometriosis, as doctor feared this. after having a blood test + ultrasound scan i have cysts on my ovaries and doctors say getting pregnant will happen when the time is right. so im 9days late today & havent taken a test as would hate to hate a negative after over a year of trying. when do you think its best to take one + if negative whens best to try again. please help! thanks x

I am 16 days late and have been having watery white discharge that causes my liner to be wet.I recently got off the mirena and waited 2 days to put the Nuva Ring in then spotted before inserting the ring. 2 weeks after having the ring in I had really bad stomach pains, a bad attitude and headaches. And not to mention the fried pickle craving,lol.My last hpt was at 10 days late and prior.What the heck is wrong with me,any thoughts????

Been trying to conceive since end of April.  I had stopped bc pills end of April had period April 25th-29th.  Then did not have another period until June 5th.  This I was told was my body adjusting to beingoff the pill.  Then my periods were normal 6/5-6/10, and then 7/3-7/7,  I was due for next period 7/31, and I am now presently 2 weeks late.  I have taken 2 urine tests and one blood test all negative.  I have noticed a white discharge after going to bathroom, and have had crampipng all sign of period but nothing to show.  Slight nausea, and breast tenderness as well.  It's such a frustrating time.  I would love to be pregnant but at the same time I know the reality of it is that i am not.  Yet I'm nervous that something is wrong with me.  I am a worry wort, lol.  My  Dr. does tell me that all is fine and that if still no period by 8/28 which is when this months should be due, then we will test again.

Just wanted to let some of you ladies know that I didn't test positive on a HPT until I was 3 weeks late! I've also read that some women didn't have a positive reading throughout their entire pregnancies. Strange, I know. I think that there might be some type of correlation between negative HPTs and Implantation Bleeding. I've researched it a lot and most of the women who experienced IB got several negative results on HPTs and were still pregnant. My implantation bleeding consisted of barely-there brownish discharge which only appeared three mornings. I hope this helps calm some of your frustrations...I know how hard it is not knowing. i had my last period on may 17th so today is the 29th day of my cycle which means im not tooo terribly late, but yet i still have not started. so i went to get 3 hpt and took one on monday evening, and it was negative, then took one this morning friday and still negative. im not sure whats going on? i have had some cramping last week and very minor this week. slight nipple tenderness and exaustion. when should i take another test. is it possible i am still pregnant and its too early? has anyone been in this situation and gotten a positive just wondering thank you so much

eveyrone i am on day 29 of my cycle. me and my husband are trying to concieve, but no pressure just letting it happen. I have taken three hpt and they have been negative. Was this too early im new at all this. when should i take another one???

I am so glad I came across this forum.  It is funny that you are not alone in a situation.  I am 9 days late 3 preg test no positive results.  I finally went to the doctor and got a blood test so hopefully I will find out what's going on.  I am never late maybe by 6 hours but never by days.  I have had headaches for the last 2 weeks.  Also I am BLOATED like I am about to start but no period.  I go to the bathroom all the time.  The only thing that is out of the norm is that my face didn't break out this month.  Usually my face breaks out every time before I come on and it didn't this month. So I am anxious to know what is going on

I'm 27 and haven't had sexual intercourse in over a year... until MAY 11th. I had protected sex (condom) using astroglide on May 10th, June 4th, & June 9th. My AF was due Wednesday, June 13th but instead on my usual heavy clots of blood, Monday the 11th I started spotting brown spots that barely filled a Panty Liner, Tuesday only bright RED thin blood when I wiped but not on pad, and now WED & THUR just brown (Paste-like) spotting again with pink around it.  I took an HPT yesterday and it came back neg. I've been extra crampy with a butterfly feel in my stomach. I still feel like my menstrual is coming down. I've weepy lately and have no appetite. I've been mean and extremely fatigued.

WHAT SHOULD I DO? Any advice will help!

Hello, Just to let you know that I find your website extremely useful.  I am a young lady with one child and wanting nothing more than to have another.  My last menstrual cycle was on the 14th or the 15th of May.  I had intercourse on the 28th, 30th and 31st of May, which at that time I was ovulating without a doubt.  The problem is that lately I am feeling extremely tired and worn out.  I am expecting my period within the next three to four days, but the way I am feeling I am beginning to wonder if it is possibly that I am pregnant.  I am having stomach cramps kind of like what I would have before my period come.  The weired thing is that I was examining my breast and after squeezing it very lightly, I notice clear fluids coming out of my right breast.  Could this be that I am pregnant or what.  I normally don't have anything coming from my breast because I tend to check it quite frequently but this time around I was shock.

ICan you also explain if I am pregnant why the cramps and how long will then go on for.  I sometime run to the bathroom base on how bad the cramps are and me thinking that any second now my cycle is going to start.  I also notice that I am in the bathroom more now than ever.  It could possibly all be in my mind because  of all the different symptoms  I am reading about.

My doctor's appointment was scheduled for this morning but I ended up cancelling (this morning) because my period started yesterday, after being 15 days late.  I'm wondering if it was an early miscarriage.  I guess this means we keep on trying! :-)  Good luck to all.

Hi, You should atleast wait 2weeks,I waited from May till June 12th 05
I knew I was probably pregnant because my boobs were hurting etc
and I knew that i was because I had just miscarried in march/april 05..so
I waited over 4weeks,NOTHING! so I took a preg test that my bf and i had gotten,a 2pack and It was a +,I didn't think i'd get preg the first go round..
I was working and everything and I guess I didn't think about it.
But, low and behold,16months later,I have a beautiful daughter :)

I'm not sure if you want to be preg or not,:) but Hope everything works out!!!
and you have a happy pregnancy! with me having had miscarried I had actually gotten Preclampsia,(high bp,water weight,feet/legs/arms were swollen as can be),
the nurses seemed disappointed I hadn't gone to a Dr my whole pregnancy,

I didn't.  I was disappointed in my own family and the bf's,weren't very nice to me, they'd be encouraging one min and really ugly acting like i'm their daughter,asking me"when are you going to the dr","what are you gonna do when it's 3am and the babys crying" As if I was 14! and i had no clue!
The brother in law,also had nerve to say he had a "SAY" in my unborn baby's life!...

I wanted to say"EXCUSE ME,you're NOT the father","YOU"RE NOT RELATED"!
HE only thought that since the bf and i were living there that he could just say whatever he wanted to and it wouldn't effect me what so ever!
And even now,

I've had other mishaps with the bf's sister So I quit seeing them.
they don't get to see our daughter AT ALL. And they treated her very ugly too.
(the sister smacked my daughter when I was RIGHT there and she didn't say,"you should take care of her misbehaving" nothing,she just went and smacked her hand really hard...I don't smack my kid!....I just can't believe these people
and how they treated me and my daughter. I don't get how the bf can even go over there and act as if everything just GREAT,when it's not.
and that's another thing, nobody listens to me!!

I cannot drive,due to me being blind completely in my right eye
and so,I have to depend on others and that's hard to come by
when the bf works NIGHTS and then sleeps during the day
and he's saying he'll take us where we need to go and to the dr's etc
and I'm like you cannot stop work just to do that!
He'll most likely be tired,and the last few times my mom still took us!

....I think I've had PPD since after my daughter was born,2/11/06 and I have this itching going on with my scalp in my hair
and it's not lice and I have no idea what it is but I constantly scratch at it
so i have boo boo's! I've tried the head and shoulders etc and I don't think it's that i have dry scalp,it's something more! Anyone Have anything like this??... I've tried searching the net and came across some stuff but I want something cheaper and that i can get at a local store or even try making myself!
I feel like I'm going NUTS and no one else around me notices anything!
i've told my mother but she doesn't seem to care.

I am 10 days late now and I took only one HPT and it came back negative, I took it when I was 7 days late.  I am not really having a lot of symptoms only tender breasts, cramping, and for the past two days I haven't been able to sleep. Could I still possibly be prego even though my test was negative.  I did have some pinkish CM two days ago which is unusual for me.  My fiance and I do not use any protection because we would be happy either way, so it is a possibility, but I just don't know.  when should I take another test?  I am only 20 and have had a history of ovarian cysts so do you think that my problem is that I am having a reoccurance of the cysts or a possible pregnancy?
