Inside vibration/tremor when weaning off sugar?

I'm a 24 years old female. I started getting off "sugar train" at September last year. From November/December I have uncontrolled inner vibrations, like a washing machine when spin-dries. It is strange! Usually they are in connection with my cycle too, after the 2nd week it is worse. At this time when I eat very little sugar, or higher carb cakes (I live gluten free life, but flours like white rice flour has high carbs, that I coud not avoid yet, but I'm working on it). So when I eat a self-baked gluten free biscuit with higher carb flours, I get this strange vibration. Like an earthquake inside me.

What do you think, can this be a withdrawal symptom of sugar? I hope so, and just hope that it will go away when my body will adjust. I eat xylovit that I think is very good to replace sugar.

Thanks for using the forum.

If your diet is causing you to feel whole body tremors, then something is not working for you. I would recommend that you check your blood sugar when you feel the tremor start. Additionally, if you are gluten free because of an intolerance or an allergy that is a diet change that you will have to incorporate into your lifestyle. Speaking with a dietician or nutritionist who specializes in gluten free could be helpful in finding alternatives. If you are gluten free as a choice, keep in mind that gluten free does not equal healthy. If you are increasing sugar or carbohydrate levels to maintain gluten free, then you have to keep that in mind and take out carb. somewhere else.

I recommend that you speak with a doctor about the tremors that you are experiencing. If they are related to your diet there are probably some simple changes that can be suggested. If the tremors are not related to diet you need to be seen to find the cause.

I hope this helps.
