No, its not a silly quiestion your concern. I don't think it would cause a brain tumor. My younger hit his head when he was three on my end table very hard started bleeding brought him to the ER and I asked if it could do any damage they said he would have to hit it harder than what he did meaning he would past out........Your fine......
My son was hit to jaw and lip and now his eyelids are black...should I be concerned that it is a head injury.
i got hit on my head with something metal and now it hurts and its kinda tender in the middle and now i have a cold and my nose have dried up blood in it what does it mean
always get hits to the head checked i hit mine had ct showed up fine 1.5 years later my ears bleed and my vision is now fuzzy i have haemorrhaging behind my eye retinas, watch for behaviour signs for the next couple of years children often become aggressive or non responsive or emotional more than usual if there is something wrong. The major issue with hits to the head and concussion is sometimes the person dosent even know they blacked out so could be just a milli second and no one notices, but thats where the neuro paths got displaced and the brain would have done like a mini reset. Sorry to alarm you but i know children miss diagnosed with anger issues or adhd only to find a brain bleed from an old knock to the head, please just be aware but not paranoid and simply seek a GPs advice or book into a concussion clinic. There are even Neuro Physios and Chiropractors these days
