Hep B/C Risk?

Would it be possible to get an STD from masturbating with a used bra strap that had been left untouched in a drawer for four or five months? The bra strap was one of those clear plastic ones (not cotton/nylon). I found it when I moved into my new apartment. I have read that some viruses like Hepatitis B and C can live on surfaces at room temperature for a long time. Do I need to get tested? I am really worried. Any advice would be much appreciated. I am really ashamed of this and have thrown the bra strap in the trash. I've never done anything like this before.
