Herpes symptoms very confused and worried!

Hello all, hope I can gain some clarity from your knowledge. 7 days ago I had protected oral sex but at the end of the encounter the saran wrap (plastic food wrap) broke and I finished in the massage girls mouth. 4 days PO I experienced real flu-like symptoms of fever 101+F body aches and headache. It all came on pretty fast within several hours. Next day I woke up with some relief and now it's been another day (day 6 into day 7) with only diahrea upset stomach no other flu symptoms and most importantly no lesions or genital-specific symptoms of tingling, itching, burning and no lesions. I don't get sick often and the time line for initial onset was too perfect by CDC definition of 4 days average. I already came to grips with I probably cough hsv but now the absence of lesions is confusing me... She also had no viable signs of lesions on her lips. Please let me know what you guys think and how long you'd suggest I keep monitoring my self for outbreak. Right now based off the knowledge I'm thinking after about 14 days no lesions I'm off the hook and it was just a freak coincidence. Let me know please! All the best from San Diego CA

Hi, if she did not have any lip sores at the time the risk you just contracted herpes is close to zero. also if she did have hsv1, getting it in your genital area is also close to zero as hsv1 prefers the oral area. you cant test at the 3 month mark or 8 weeks post exposure if you want but it would not be recommended considerintg the risk involved.

Sorry for the typos everyone. Composed this note on my cellphone keyboard. Also I have been having some lower back pain too as a result of the fever and aches that is still with me but again, no fever, headache, body aches... Thanks so much.
