Tips include: no trans fat (cakes, pie crust, frozen pizza, etc.), scale back and lose some weight, exercise 2 1/2 hours a week, eat lots of fiber like oatmeal, apples, beans, etc, eat fish regularly every week, choose olive oil over butter, add nuts into your diet, reduce stress, add garlic, curcumin, ginger, black pepper, coriander, and cinnamon to foods for spice and cholesterol reduction, quit smoking (obvious) and laugh more.
