Can somebody get pregnant like this

Please dont judge!!

Hi there, to give context to my problem I have OCD and the intrusive thoughts have made this worrying like crazy!

I am a male and I always masturbated in the shower(bathtub) because I see it as the cleaner way to do it! Last 3-4 days i have barely functioned because my brain is telling me that somehow i could have left someone pregnant in some way or another!  Either someone got in the bathub just as i left or their private part may have touched any residue semen left in the bathtub!

I never fill the bathtub with water, just use it as a shower with running water! It has gotten to a point that my brain is giving my signals that all my nephews and nieces can be mine! Even DNA paternity test came as an option as a thought lol! Crazy right, well if you didn’t know what ocd is, that explains it well!

I’ve read many thing that show that theoretical it can happen but practically no because there isnt one case documented to get pregnant like that!

So is there a chance to get pregnant like this! I wrote this post so I can get a professional opinion!

Thank you! And i ask to not be judged because propably its nothing but just my ocd   Talking!

Hi. I just noticed nobody answered you about this. There is no judgment here.

It is highly unlikely for you to get someone pregnant this way. I'll include this article here; there is a specific part where it may be helpful for you: https://www.healthline.com/health/how-long-can-sperm-live-outside-the-body#hot-tubs-and-sperm. It specifically said there that even if you ejaculate in the bathtub and it is wet, your sperm still needs to travel fast to enter a vagina, then through the cervix, and so on. So, having someone pregnant this way is highly unlikely and even close to impossible.

I hope this helps you. And I hope you are feeling a bit better when you read this reply.
