HIV TEST CONFUSION

I have had sex with a lot of CSW in Uk(all protected)
I did my hiv 4th gen test duo test after 29 days of exposure and it came back negative.

But they said its conclusive after only 6 weeks though its very unlikely for the result to change.

But i am really confused now.
Someone please help and guide me as some internet sources say that 3 month is conclusive and some even say a 6 month test.

Please help.

We don't provide support for anxiety, or for anxiety-related placebo testing. We are all volunteers, and I am not going to spend my free time on Saturday answering questions about a disease that you DO NOT HAVE.

The only risks for HIV in adults are:
1) Having unprotected anal or vaginal sex, or
2) sharing intravenous needles with IV drug users.

If you do not engage in any of the activities I mentioned above with someone HIV+ or whose HIV status is unknown to you, you will NEVER have to worry about getting HIV.

Take care.

Thank you very much for the reply.
And sorry again for asking

As you have been in the forum and must have also known many many casez have you heard of any case who came negative with duo after 28 days and then turned positive. Why the cdc and other websites say 3 months and 6 months

And does covid vaccine 2 years ago could have any affect to my results now?

Sorry for the stupid reply.
Your situation involves personal contact with an object in air  (maybe blood, maybe cut, change condom,  etc. ) . You will be happy to learn that you had no risk, because you can't get hiv from personal contact except unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal with a penis, neither of which you did and you didn't share hollow needles to inject with which is the only other way to acquire hiv - there are ONLY 3 ways to get hiv. Note that 2 of them require a penis and the third requires a hollow injecting shared needle - there are no OTHER ways to get hiv. Analysis of large numbers of infected people over the 40 years of hiv history has proven that people don't get hiv in the way you are worried is a risk.
Hiv is a fragile virus in air or saliva and is effectively instantly dead in either air or saliva so the WORST that could happen is dead virus rubbed you, and obviously anything which is dead cannot live again so you are good. Blood and cuts would not be relevant in your situation since the hiv has become effectively dead, so you don't have to worry about them to be sure that you are safe.
There is no reason for a person to test when they are safe. The advice took into consideration that the other person might be positive, so move on and enjoy life instead of thinking about this non-event. hiv prevention is straightforward since there are only 3 ways you can become infected, so next time you wonder if you had a risk, ask yourself this QUESTION. "Did I do any of the 3?" Then after you ANSWER "No, there wasn't a penis in an anus or vagina and I wasn't injected" you will know that it's time to move on back to your happy life.
No one got hiv from what you did during 40 years of hiv history and no one will get it in the next 40 years of your life either.  You can do what you did any time and be safe from hiv.
The other person's status is irrelevant when you have no exposure to live virus.
If you still have questions about your risk, after reading all of the above, then it is because you didn't answer the QUESTION above.
You can't get hiv when you used a condom that doesn't fail. That's why hiv doctors counsel sex workers to use condoms! If a condom fails, it rips wide down the seam so that didn't happen.
There is literally NOTHING left to help you with with relation to HIV. You never had a risk. Protected sex is NOT a risk. If you can not accept this answer, you have an anxiety disorder and should see a doctor for it.
That comment is very satisfying. Thank you for your time.

And sorry again for another question.

Does covid vaccine taken 3 years ago affect the hiv testing?

And as i tested negative on self test and duo test( so if there would have been any case like worst to worst 3 months ago or before that. These 2 tests rules out everything. What ever the situation might be. Am i right?
And yes i will see the doctor as well for my anxiety

Protected intercourse is no risk for HIV. Any test you take at any time is conclusive, and will always be negative since you were never exposed to HIV.

I am always confused about the window period. I have mostly with sex workers and sometimes with my fwb female partners(one time i did anal with my female partner with condom and 3 minutes it lasted and it was rough and the condom didnt even break, so i know the condoms are very strong actually). But still you know this anxiety is killing me deep inside

Actually in the past year 2 or 3 times i had to change condom in midway intercouse with CSW so that i consider a little risk and oral in the past 3 months 2 or 3 times both ways but never had any bleeding problem, so with my last condom slippage(31/12/23) covering 60 percent of my penis i tested with self blood test at 26/03/24 it came negative but between them i had multiple encounters with csws) i started worrying about this hiv around 16/03/24 when i developed thus anxiety due to internet websites, i had not symotoms that time.

So my last my last encounter with csw was on 16 march 2024 the same day i developed anxiety. So after 29 days i tested witj duo and it came back negative.

My main questions are please answer as i am really worried

1. When does this p24 antigen starts developing or showing in tests and when doea it stop as when antibody starta developing or same time and when it stops like i have read 5 weeks, so does antibody can be detected by the duo test.
Basically, how this duo test works.

2. As they say after 6 weeks or so and all as my duo test is negative. So, atleast can i consider all my previous exposure are negative irrespective of what ever happened

3. The last one, some say if you have had low exposure then 4 weeks duo conclusive and if high exposure then 6 weekz or 3 months. I mean what it has to do with exposures or the test result?

Can you please help me please.
