Will be most likely induced tomorrow
Hi guys,
Just to let you guys know that I will be most likely induced tomorrow due to the unexpected skin disorder called PUPPP or Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy. It has spread all over my body and tht itchiness is driving me nuts. I have it even on my hands and fingers and between my fingers and have tried everything including a mild hydrocortisone lotion - nothing. I can't sleep properly, I'm waking up every 1.5-2 hours due to the itchiness. The only 'cure' is delivery of the baby.
I will talk with the Doctor tomorrow with my midwife and we'll see what he says. It could be that I have liver problems which then warrants an induction. B ut it appears as though tomorrow may be my day or most likely the day after as when my cervix is still closed, it will take a while (!!!!) to get it open :-( I will then be checked upon every 6 hours because they don't like to rush it when the cervix isn't dilated. As long as my little one is delivered healthy and everything of course is OK with me as well (!!!) then I'm happy. It's become a nightmare, I can deal with anything and I'm rare to cray but yesterday I was in tears!!! It's that bad. Hope you guys are all well and if I'm not on during the next few days, then my little wonder is there :-)

im sorry about the PUPPP my friend just had her baby 8 days late and had to put up with it for nearly 2wks she said it was the most horrible thing i researched it and realised theres nothing u can put on it etc to calm it down either CRAZY
1 in the high hundreds to 270odd get it and its usually with the first pregnancy and 70% are having boys that get it,.. wierd!
